WEEKLY SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDIES FOR SENIOR HIGH YOUTH and MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH:


Bible Study Program:

Sr. High Bible Study meets in Room A106 every Wednesday Evening!

The New time is 6:20-7:00!

If you would like dinner, its $5.00 in the New fellowship Hall at 6:00!



Middle School Bible Study will meet in A109 from 6:20-7:00!

Sunday Night Youth Program

This Spring, will be moved on Sunday evenings from 5:30 - 7:00!

Here are the dates for WiFi!!!

Our Schedule for Spring 2008 is as follows!

April 6th - WiFi - Our topic will be goodness/service and this will be the kick off for the Great Week of Service!

April 13th - Mission Night

April 20th - WiFi - Youth Worship Night! Our Topic will be Faithfulness

April 27th - Live at Five: Coffee and Worship at Legends Coffee House

May 4th - WiFi - Youth Worship Night! Our Topic will be Gentleness and Self Control!

May 11th - NO YOUTH GROUP: IT'S MOTHERS DAY...YOU SHOULD BE TAKING YOUR MOM OUT TO EAT!!!

MAY 18th - WiFi - Last WiFi for the spring!!!

June 1st - Testify Concert & Social

June 22nd-28th - Middle School Mission Trip

July 13th-19th - High School Mission Trip




Road Trips

Go hear different Christian bands and groups perform, movie nights, bowling, laser tag, etc.

We have several retreats on the table being planned!

Youth Choir

Youth Choir meets weekly during the school year!

They meet on Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00 p.m.


Youth Mission Opportunities

Here are some of the things we'll do!

* Senior High Mission trip to Henderson Settlement in Frakes, KY (July, 2008)

* Middle School Mission trip (June 2008)

AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH THE MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE INVOLVED IN MISSION WORK!!!

* Visit Shut-Ins

* Help at Soup Kitchen

* Work at Mooresville Christian Mission

* Make blankets for Cancer Centers
* Visit Assisted Living Homes and Sing with Residents
* Christmas Caroling
* Make Easter Baskets for less fortunate children

* Help at Annual Church BBQ

* Assist with Children’s Vacation Bible School


* Youth Sponsored Christmas Angels

2008 Youth Health Form

In an effort to make youth event registrations less painful, we are instituting a Youth Health Form. This form contains all of the medical/health/insurance information that we usually ask for each and every trip. The idea is to have a form for each youth that will be attending outings with the Williamson's Chapel youth group. You fill it out once at the beginning of the year and have it notarized (please make sure you sign the form in front of the notary and be prepared to show ID). Unless any of your child's health or insurance information changes you will not have fill it out again until 2009. Please be aware that at times conference forms may still need to be completed (as is the case with Kaleidoscope).

FAMILY YOUTH FALL KICK OFF
Want to find out what all is happening with the youth program this fall?  Sunday August 24th from 4:30-6:00, we will be having our Kick-off for the fall of 2008! The whole family is welcome!  We will have an overview of all the programs for the fall, a chance to sign up and volunteer for fall events, a question and answer session, a chance to get safe sanctuaries trained, and of course, we’ll have dinner!  Please sign up online, so we know how much food to prepare!  (You do not have to sign up each person in your family individually, just put your family name, and how many are attending in the comment box).

YOUTH FAMILY RETREAT
We will be headed to Camp Tekoa October 24th-26th for a family retreat!  We will have the opportunity to do the challenge course, the zipline, canoeing, the climbing wall and much, much more!  The cost for the trip will be $60.00 per person, with a cap of $220.00 per family! 

Youth, if your family absolutely cannot come, you can still sign up to go on this trip!  Sign up online!

TEACHER APPRECIATION MEAL
We need youth to come to the church Thursday morning to help serve the teachers at the Teacher Appreciation meal!  You have an opportunity to show them your appreciation for what they do…or just get in their good graces!   If you can help, be there at 7:00 am!
