HAITI RELIEF: Ways You Can Get Involved

DONATE ITEMS FOR HEALTH KITS
The children in our Wednesday Night WOW program will be assembling health kits on February 10th. We are looking for DONATIONS of the following items for the health kits. You can drop off your donation in the bins outside of the sanctuary before worship or Wednesday nights, in the Mission room or in the office. There will be a sample health kit in the narthex.

1 hand towel (15" x 25" up to 17" x 27", No kitchen towels)
1 washcloth
1 comb (large and sturdy, not pocket-sized)
1 nail file or fingernail clippers (no emery boards or toenail clippers)
1 bath-size bar of soap (3 oz. and up)
1 toothbrush (single brushes only in original wrapper, No child-size brushes)
6 adhesive plastic strip sterile bandages
$1.00 to purchase toothpaste

(NOTE: UMCOR is now purchasing toothpaste in bulk to be added to health kits before shipping to ensure that the product does not expire before they are sent.)

EVERREADY (Senior Adults) BINGO FEST FOR HAITIAN RELIEF
Tuesday, February 9th, 10:30 am in the Fellowship Hall
The Senior Adults will play bingo for special prizes, while raising money for our church wide Haitian Relief.

We are all saddened by this horrific tragedy that has devastated an already struggling country. We are asking for a $10.00 donation but anything you can and want to give will be greatly appreciated. The money raised will but put to use where it is needed. It could be used to purchase items for Relief Packets that our Children's W.O.W. Program are putting together or it could be used to help with the cost to ship the items.

Welcome to Williamson's Chapel United Methodist Church! As the senior pastor I invite you to join me in getting to know this congregation. Williamson's Chapel is an old church with a new-community feel. The long, rich tradition of faithfulness to Jesus Christ continues to be expressed as greater numbers of people from the Mooresville area around Lake Norman come to be a part of this vibrant congregation. I hope you will choose to learn and experience more of Williamson's Chapel and help us carry on the tradition of growing in faith and serving the needs of our world for the sake of Christ Jesus our Lord.

In Christ's Love,
Rev. Rob Fuquay, Senior Pastor
