2008-09 Youth Health Form
In an effort to make youth event registrations less painful, we are instituting a Youth Health Form. This form contains all of the medical/health/insurance information that we usually ask for each and every trip. The idea is to have a form for each youth that will be attending outings with the Williamson's Chapel youth group. You fill it out once at the beginning of the year and have it notarized (please make sure you sign the form in front of the notary and be prepared to show ID). Unless any of your child's health or insurance information changes you will not have fill it out again until 2009. Please be aware that at times conference forms may still need to be completed (as is the case with Kaleidoscope).

Wednesday Night Youth Program!
Wednesday nights from 5:15 - 8:00 p.m., Starting September 3rd
(New Schedule starting FALL 2008)
4:45-6:30 Food served in Old Fellowship Hall ($6.00)
6:30-7:00 To go meals available in Kitchen
5:15-6:00 Middle School Bible Study (B204)
6:00-7:00 ALIVE Choir/Band (Fellowship Hall)
7:00-8:00 High School Bible Study in A105, A106 & A107
Bible Study Program:
Sr. High Bible Study meets in Room A105, A106, A107 every Wednesday Evening from 7:00-8:00!
There is also a High School Bible Study on Tuesday Nights from 7:30-8:30!
Middle School Bible Study will meet in B204 from 5:15-6:00 on Wednesdays!
Sunday Night Youth Program
WiFi: WiFi meets the 1st Sunday of each month from 5-7 in the fellowship hall and is our high energy youth program!
Fellowship Nights: The 2nd Sunday of each month will be a travelling fellowship night! The times will vary depending on the event!
Here are this fall's fellowship nights!
September 14th (Middle School is going Rock Climbing and High School is going to the Amazing Maize Maze).
October 12th (Middle School doing Amazing Maize Maze and High School is going rock climbing).
November 9th (Middle School and High School going to play laser tag!)
Service Nights: The 3rd Sunday of the month will be a service night!
Fun Night at Church: The 4th Sunday of the month will be a fun night at the church!

We should have a blast! I can't think of a better way to celebrate Christmas as a youth group than making sure 400 children in the area will have a Great Christmas!!!

We will begin our Confirmation Class January 25th, 2009!
This will be a weekly class at 11:00, and will be for 6th grade students as well as other middle school youth who have not had Confirmation yet! (High School youth, see me before registering)
Confirmation is the process we have in the Methodist church where we confirm our infant baptism!
We explore these topics:
What is Confirmation
Who is God
Who is Jesus
Who is the Holy Spirit
What is the Bible and how do we use it
What is a Christian, and what is expected of us
What is the Church
What is the Methodist Church
What is Sin
What is Salvation
What is Worship
What is Grace
What does it mean to be a member of WCUMC
The class also includes a retreat that will be February 20th-22nd, 2009. (It is expected of you to make the retreat, it is a very important part of the confirmation process).

Senior High Ski Trip |

Go ahead and register for this ski trip!
We will be headed back to Winterplace, and will be headed that way Friday night to stay in a hotel!
We will get up and go ski the next day and will return late that Saturday night!
There is a $50.00 deposit due for this trip! This deposit is refundable if you let me know by December 21st that you cannot go, after that day, the deposit is non-refundable! The total cost of the trip will be approx $90.00, but that is subject to change! |

Hey eveyone,
The middle school ski trip will be February 7th, 2009!
Once again, the cost of the trip will be determined by the amount that you rent!
THe trip will be approximately 55-75 dollars!
There is a $40.00 deposit due when you register! This deposit is refundable if you tell me you cannot go before January 1st, 2009! After that date, the deposit is non-refundable!
We will be meeting bright and early once again, and then headed to Ski Beech to ski!

Kaleidoscope is our most popular middle school retreat! April 24th-26th, 2009 we will be headed to Camp Thunderbird for a great retreat! The music is awesome, the speakers are powerful, and the weekend is often a life changing trip for many middle school youth!
The cost is usually around $100 and the retreat fills up quickly! Register online to reserve your spot today! (There will be a conference registration form due later to finalize your spot).

Graduating Seniors Trip |

We will be renting two vans and going on a road trip to NYC!!!
Once there, we will most likely serve in a soup kitchen in the morning and then be tourist in the evenings!
Cost will be determined by travel cost, food cost, and activities.
I know lodging will be $75 per person for the week (not free like I thought it would be)!
Travel will most likely be around $200.00 Per person
Then you would need to add on top of that food cost, sight seeing cost and other expenses!
Best guess at this point would be $400ish. NOTE THAT IS A GUESS, NOT THE SET PRICE!!!
This trip is only for Class of 09 Seniors!!!
We will be gone from June 14th-20th, 2009

SENIOR HIGH MISSION TRIP |

WE WILL BE GOING BACK TO HENDERSON SETTLEMENT July 19th-25th, 2009!!!
The cost of the trip was raised by Henderson Settlement, so we need to raise our cost of this trip as well!
CHANGE FOR THIS YEAR!!!! There is a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 for this trip!!!
The remaining $135.00 will be due June 1st! This $135 will be refundable up to July 1st! If you drop out after July 1st, I will still need you to pay for this trip!
We will be doing basic home repair, much like we did last year! My hope is to do some room additions this year!!!

YOU WANTED IT, YOU GOT IT!!! SpiritUs will be 4 Days this time! The extra day will have a mission/service component to it!!!
There is a conference reference form that you will need to fill out to fully register!
THERE WILL BE A $50.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT FOR THIS TRIP!!!
The remainder of the money will be due in MAY!
If you drop out of this trip within a month of departure, you will be responsible for paying for the full trip!!!
We will leave for the beach on Friday August 14th and will return Monday August 17th!!!
This trip is always a youth favorite! The bands are awesome, the speakers are awesome, the skits are awesome!!! Any youth currently in middle school and High school can sign up (rising 6th graders for the 2009-2010 school year will have to wait till SpiritUs 2010 to go!)
