If you are looking for a place to fit in, friends that will
accept you “how you are” and fun and fellowship, UMYF is for YOU!
In a big church, it is easy to get lost in the masses but UMYF
will offer you a place to plug into! You will find friends that
have something in common with you and you will experience the
ups and downs of life while you are supported with other people
that have the same faith in God that you do! The “downs” won’t
be quite so bad with a great group of friends and counselors to
support you!
Heard of peer pressure? This will be a great way to deal with
the things peer pressure brings!
Williamson' Chapel offers Sunday School for youth during all three of our Worship times on Sunday morning.
Please see our
Sunday School Page for more detailed information on all of our Sunday School classes.

2010 Youth Health Form
It is time to renew your Youth Health Forms. This form contains all of the medical/health/insurance information that we usually ask for each and every trip. The idea is to have a form for each youth that will be attending outings with the Williamson's Chapel youth group. You fill it out once at the beginning of the year and have it notarized (please make sure you sign the form in front of the notary and be prepared to show ID). Unless any of your child's health or insurance information changes you will not have fill it out again until 2011. Please be aware that at times conference forms may still need to be completed (as is the case with Kaleidoscope).
This form needs to be notarized and Libra Pitts is a notary, so if needed you can stop by the church office to have the form notarized.

Youth Rafting Trip |
6/26/2010
We will be taking a Youth Rafting trip Saturday June 26th!
We will be self guiding the 8 class II rapids and the 1 class III Rapid that the Nantahala River has to offer!
Don't worry, Kevin Ward, our Youth Director, was a river guide for 4 years for Camp Tekoa and has done the Nantahala River many times! We will be plenty safe!
Cost will be determined by the number of participants, but will likely be around $25.00-$30.00 plus meal cost!
With rapids like Patton's Run, Pyramid Rock, Delebar's Rock, Quarry, Whirlpool, The Ledges, Surfing Rapid, the Bump and the class III Rapid, Nantahala Falls, we will have a great time!
This is a great trip to build trust with your friends and family, build your confidence and simply just enjoy God's creation!
There will be limited space, so sign up today!
Note: The Nantahala River is a dam fed river, but the water is drawn from the bottom of a large lake, so the water is ALWAYS cold, even in mid-summer! So dress appropriately! Email Kevin if you would like ideas on what to wear! |
