The children receive care and supervised play as from a professionally trained staff who provide love and consistency for these young children.

Youth (Grades 6-12)
Our Youth work as Speed Bumps (parking attendents)during this hour.

PRESCHOOL:

The children receive care and supervised play from a professionally trained staff that provide consistency.

Age 2
Location: Lower Level Room B105
The children learn more about themselves, their church, their world and God. There are developmentally appropriate stories, music and activities designed for this age.

CHILDREN:

Children Age three through fourth grade will be using a curriculum called LIVE B.I.G. This curriculum helps children see, hear, and live their belief in God. Short video segments bring faith filled, high energy excitement to your children with characters who model B.I.G. behavior, travel segments featuring B.I.G. ministries and cool music.

The fifth grade girls and boys will use a series called LIVE IT! Building Skills for Christian Living. Some of the topics they might explore:
Being Christian At School, My Family, Making Good Decisions, Making a World of Difference, and Bullying and Gossiping.

YOUTH:

Middle School and High School (Grades 6-12)
Location: God Cave

Youth are helped to better understand the Bible and how it applies to their daily lives. They are encouraged to develop habits that promote Christian growth and to demonstrate a Christian life-style.
Youth are taught in variety of ways from discussions, readings and videos. The youth are challenged to define who they are and who others think they are. The Youth begin to deal with Christian values paralleling the development of their independence.


ADULT:
Adult Bible Studies: Ruth, Isaiah, Matthew and Luke
Men’s Bible Class
Location: B202
Teachers: Robert Howard & Sonny Oakley
This is an older men’s class that uses the standard Methodist Curriculum. They are normally taught in a lecture style with some discussion.

Adult Sonshine Class
Location: B204
Teachers: Nancy Andersen and Jody Hartsell
The Sonshine Class is made up of men and women ranging from their mid 50’s and older. They use the Methodist Curriculum and are normally taught by lecture or discussion style. The teachers teach on a rotating basis.

Fellowship Class
Location: B201
Teachers: Scott Price and Henry Deal
The Fellowship Class enjoys time of fellowship before the lesson. They use a variety of curriculum resources. The lessons are lecture with plenty of discussion. The class consists of couples and singles ranging in age from their late 30’s and older.


Seeker’s Class
Location: A111
Teachers: Ed Watson
The New Faith class enjoys time of fellowship with one another. They use a Methodist standard curriculum. The lessons are lecture with plenty of discussion. The class consists of couples and singles, ranging in age from their early 20’s and older.

PRESCHOOL & CHILDREN:

Ages 4 - 1st Grade
Location: Lower Level Room B102
The children learn about themselves, their church, their world and God. There are developmentally appropriate stories, music and activities designed for this age. Curriculum used is called the One Room Sunday School.

2nd – 5th Grade
Location: A107 gathering for 2nd & 3rd grade, A101 gathering for the 4th & 5th grade.
Workshop Rotation explores a Bible story by using multiple workshops (art, drama, cooking, video, games, etc). For four weeks the children will rotate into a different workshop learning the same story. This curriculum uses the multiple intelligence approach to education and is very popular with teachers and children.


YOUTH:

Invite friends as we look into the life of Jonathon, a hero from the Old Testament. We will learn about his life, challenges and commitment; what it has to do with us today and how we can apply his wisdom to change our lives into an exciting journey each day. Everyone welcome!

Single Parenting That Works By: Dr. Kevin Leman
Location: Room B202
Learn how to bring stability to children by taking care of yourself. Learn how forgiveness opens the door to healthy relationships. Help your kids develop positive self esteem when kids need it most.

Prayer: Does It Make Any Difference? By: Phillip Yancey
Facilitator: Scott Ireland Location: Room B201
Yancey explores the questions surrounding prayer that many of us wonder but few know how to express. Does prayer work? More personally, does it work the way we think it should? What can we really expect from prayer?
