Fitness / Hiking
We typically meet at 8 a.m. Saturdays and 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at either Lake Norman State Park, located on State Park Road off Perth, or another local venue. We periodically do hikes at other locations, such as Stone Mountain, Grandfather Mountain and other area trails. Everyone is encouraged to consult their own doctor prior to beginning any fitness activity. Communications usually take place via email, so don not forget to request that your name be added to the email list.

the Singles Class will begin a new study on Philippians called Laugh Again: Experience Outrageous Joy by Charles R. Swindoll. So what did Jonah say when he was swallowed by the great fish? Okay, the Bible isnt a joke book, and we shouldnt pretend that the Bible is a laughing matter. However, that doesnt mean Gods Word isnt full of humor and joy. In fact, Chuck Swindoll points out that Philippians is one of the most joy-filled books in the Bible, and its truths can fill your life with joy. Everyone is welcome! |
