Fellowship Friends Sign Up

It is vital when new families enter our congregation that we shower them with love, kindness, and acceptance.

Things to do as a fellowship friend:
* Be present in the service the day the people join the church.
* Call the family and invite them to special seasonal church functions.
* If you notice they have not been present, notify one of the ministers.
* Encourage them to get involved in some type of small group.
* If you see them present in worship, Wed. evening fellowship meals, or other church functions, speak to them and make sure they feel at ease.

Fellowship Friends Program

Hundreds of new people join our church each year! That is a powerful testimony to the work of the Holy Spirit here in our midst. One goal we have as a Witness Team as new people come into our church family is to make sure they feel a part of the family! Thus, we have implemented the program Fellowship Friends.

Fellowship Friends can be anyone who has an interest in helping people feel at ease in a new church environment. They should promote a Christian bonding experience between the new member and the church family! Sometimes all it takes for a new person to feel at ease in the life of the church is a friendly face at a church function or someone to say hello to on Sunday morning!

If you feel like you can partner with other people to make them feel welcome and at ease here at Williamson’s Chapel, please email Andrea Smith at andreasmith@williamsonschapel.org or give her a call at 664-3680.
